Don't let bad diesel fuel take down your fleet!
Fleet Fuel tests are simple "Go / No Go" fuel tests for verifying the quality of diesel, biodiesel, and blended fuels on the spot! Our tests are used to screen fuels for the following:
- Water Contamination
- Microbial Contamination
- Fuel Degradation
- Presence of and percentage of biodiesel in diesel fuel
Fleet Fuel tests are being used in more than 40 countries, across six continents, and in 48 of the 50 United States. The tests are small, easy to use, and much less expensive than laboratory analysis.
FT-0100 Water and Visual Clarity
This is a simple two-part test in which diesel fuel is tested for visual clarity and the presence of entrained (dissolved) water.
This test should be used as an initial screening test for fuel deliveries and for periodic monitoring of fuel quality at the dispenser and storage tanks. It can also be used as a vehicle maintenance diagnostic to detect entrained water (a major cause of blown injector tips). Works for diesel, biodiesel, biodiesel blends.
FT-0110 Test for Microbial Contamination
This is a test to detect both fungal and bacterial contamination in diesel and biodiesel fuels. It can be used to test fuel from the dispenser, from the vehicle tank, or from the main fuel storage tanks.
This test should be used to screen diesel fuel storage tanks on a one to three month basis. It may also be used as a vehicle diagnostic if a fuel sample fails the Water and Visual Clarity test.
FT-0120 Degraded Fuel Test
This threshold test indicates whether diesel or biodiesel fuel exceeds industry specifications for acid number value, a key indicator of fuel degradation.
This test should be used to test fuel deliveries and periodic monitoring of fuel quality at the dispenser and storage tanks. It can also be used in vehicle maintenance to detect degraded fuel in seasonal use vehicles.
